I am Dana Staples and this is where I write! I write about whatever takes hold of the gears in my brain long enough for it to make it here. Those things as of late tend to be related to minimalism, zero waste, tiny living, and all environmental issues. I'm a lover of the earth and of National Parks and would always rather be outside than inside. I ski, hike, bike, and yoga. I love to grow food, read real books, and I never skip breakfast. Ever.
I'm a born and raised Utahn, currently living in Kansas City, Missouri. I'm married to a medical student who I fear every day will quit to become a park ranger or a snow plow driver (which are both praiseworthy occupations but won't do much to pay off two years worth of med school tuition) and I do my best to raise our two strong-willed children.
